Telegram has abruptly shuttered Haowang Guarantee, the largest known darknet marketplace operating on its platform. The crackdown, executed on May 13, banned thousands of accounts and channels linked to the illicit operation, effectively dismantling its infrastructure.

Formerly known as Huione Guarantee, the marketplace facilitated billions in crypto transactions tied to online fraud and cybercrime. Telegram’s enforcement action marks a significant blow to crypto-powered criminal enterprises leveraging its ecosystem.
